So, looks like "m i pretty" has taken a new twist. I often feel frustrated living in a world when there is one ideal image that is glamorized: skinny. I would like to know who decided that was the only thing that was beautiful. Oh, wait. I do know. However, his name is not worthy to mention on here. I am on God's side, and I am determined to help as many of his children as I can, learn what real beauty is.

It is important to feel pretty and beautiful, and unfortunately we live in a world that has formed the ideal body as one that only 5% of the population have; tall and thin. I am sick of hearing this lie, and it is about time, that I do something about it! I refuse to go on any longer without me putting up a fight.

Look at this flower, for example. Pretty! eh? Yes! So beautiful. Well what if the top horticulture magazine.. (if there is even such a thing) decided to only post pictures of tulips. Well now this beautiful flower feels like if it wants to be noticed, it has to become a tulip! So do all of the carnations, the lilies and the daffodils. Lame! Right? Of course this is a beautiful flower. All flowers are beautiful...just a matter of preference. Are women not the same? Do you really think God would create something beautiful ugly? I think not!

My hope is that I will not be alone in this fight. Please join me by sending me your thoughts, your feelings, or any powerful insights, pictures or ideas that you have and I will do what I can to make them known!
